The Virtual PianoKids video series takes children (ages 3-8) on a musical world tour to learn about music from different cultures, and some of the important building blocks of music. The videos, each 10-15 minutes in length, explore concepts such as timbre, tempo, pitch, and form, and incorporate crafting and kinesthetic activities to engage children in multiple modes of learning.
In addition to these videos, extension activities will be provided for children to continue their learning at home on their own.
The series culminates in a live performance on August 5 at 11:30am on the Piano Cleveland website, where our youth participants will be able to apply what they have learned in an interactive performance.
