In an effort to provide a safe environment for our employees and clients, while maintaining all necessary business, we have established the following policies during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

All pianos will continue to be shown by private appointment.

All events will be limited to half capacity and social distancing is strongly encouraged.   

Temperature. Please, do not enter the building if your temperature is above 100.4°F. By coming to our facility, you certify that your temperature is below 100.4°F. While Steinway Piano Gallery will not perform random temperature checks, the Firm reserves the right to refuse use of our building  to anyone with COVID-like symptoms.

Symptom Free. Do not enter the buildings if you have shown symptoms of COVID-19 in the prior 24 hours. Currently, those symptoms include: 100.4°F temperature; fever or chills; cough; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; fatigue; muscle or body aches; headache; loss of taste or smell; sore throat; congestion or runny nose; nausea or vomiting; or diarrhea. This list may be updated as additional guidance is issued by the CDC.

Tested Positive. Do not enter the buildings if you have tested positive for COVID-19 until (a) a negative deep nasal swab COVID-19 test result is obtained; AND (b) 7 consecutive days without symptoms.

Possible Exposure. Do not enter the buildings if you have been exposed to someone that tested positive for COVID-19 until the earlier of (a) a negative deep nasal swab COVID-19 test result is obtained by you; OR (b) after the expiration of 14 days from date of your exposure without developing symptoms.

Social Distancing. Maintain social distancing (6 feet) between yourself and others, both in the recital hall and store common areas.

Masks in Building. We encourage all guests to make the best decisions on mask wearing for them and their family.

Permission to Enter. Do not enter individual offices without asking permission.

Occupancy Limits. Kitchen and copy room occupancy are limited to two (2) persons at a time and social distancing (6 feet) should be maintained in these areas. The Refrigerator, Microwave and kitchen are not available for guests use at this time.

Sterilization. Hand sanitizer and wipes are available throughout the store for your use. Please sanitize your hands before playing the performance piano(s) and refrain from playing other instruments without permission from the representative assisting you.
